Display of New York selected Firefly Magic™ Firefly
Lights for use in their latest display system
for MACY'S Department Store located on Broadway
in New York.
The famous Macy's Department
Store, host of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving
Day Parade in New York, is featuring Britney
Spears new fragrance Fantasy in
their 6 grand windows that face Broadway, plus
two adjacent windows. Each of the windows depicts
a magical woodland scene, including the flashing,
flickering, and fading of over 200 Firefly Magic™ Firefly
Lights throughout the displays.
"Firefly Magic™ Firefly
Lights were selected because of their very realistic
and lifelike mimicry of real fireflies in nature." Paul
Zacharek of Constructive Display headed the project
and was looking for a realistic recreation of fireflies
in the woods. The result seemed to please the thousands
of people that walk by the Macy's Broadway windows
each day.
